Window-eyes 4.5 set file for Anytime Deluxe 9 Created with screen resolution 600x800 and high 16 bit color and screen resolution 640x480 16 colors. Last updated 03/16/04 The set files needed are: atw.000 atw.001 atw.002 atw.003 atw.004 atw.005 atw.gra atw.we Run the program maximized to insure that the sets will work properly. The Day Planner works extremely well. The week glance and month glance are readable with Window #2. The year glance is pretty much useless. The address book is quite good. atw.000 In the Day Planner alt+1 = Window #1 reads the attachment information. alt+2 Window #2 is a float window that will read which ever list view you are on. It is set to the focus window. This takes care of the overlapping problem when two list views share a portion of the screen. By setting the float boundaries to beginning and end of focus window, only the info from the list view you are in will read. In the week and month glances, this will read the day you are on. alt+3 Window #3 reads the appointment times (or all times) shown on the screen. alt+4 Window #4 reads the number of days that have passed for the year and the number that is left. So, for example, June 21, 2001 is the 172nd day of the year and there are 193 days left. alt+5 Window #5 reads the to do list. alt+9 = Window #9 reads the date. I chained windows 6, 7, 8, and 9 together so the date reads, day of the week, month, date, and year. For example, Thursday, September 27, 2001. Hyperactive Window #a triggers on any change to the date and reads Window #9. Hyperactive Window #b is turned off, but if you turn it on, it is set to trigger on "does not contain string: 6:00" and reads Window #1. I turned it off because the way the windows change size, it was annoying to get the overlap between the attachment info and the appointment list. Hyperactive Window #C is set to load the set, atw.003 when you select the glance views. So if you go into any of the glances, atw.003 will be loaded. This is explained later under atw.003. Hyperactive Window #D is set to load atw.004 when you select the address book. Hyperactive Window #E is set to load atw.005 when you select the Expense View. The main view of the day planner was a custom control. With the suggestion of Paul Mimms, I reclassed it as a listview, and it seems to read just fine. If there is an attachment, there are three list views; if no attachment, then there are only two list views. The tab key moves you between them and the up and down arrow keys move you up and down within each list. 1. attachment info: It will disappear if there is no attachment info. 2. Appointments/events: It shows the available and/or scheduled times, etc. 3. To Do list: It will say "unknown" (or just be silent) if there are no to do items scheduled. You will land on the first list when you start the program. So, if there is a file attached, you begin on that view and if not, you begin on the appointment events list. I labeled some graphics at the bottom of the screen. The most helpful of which is the time scales. This toggles between "show only scheduled times and "show all times". There is some overlap between the attachment info and the list of times when all times are shown, but this is no longer a problem if you use Window #2, the float window, because it only reads the contents of the list view that has focus. atw.001 This set file is associated with the print screen. I simply turned off hyperactive Window #a so it wouldn't interfere when arrowing through the options. atw.002 This set file is associated with the Anytime On-line window. I managed to label some of the graphics so you can tell which files are checked and which are not. You have to use the mouse keys to check or uncheck files. This is a feature of Anytime Deluxe that allows you to down load new attachment files such as a file so the calendar will show the moon phases, or a file for celebrity birthdays, etc. If you are running a firewall, make sure that it is set to allow "atw.exe" to access the internet, otherwise you may find yourself without speech and a locked up computer. atw.003 This set file is loaded by hyperactive Window #c, when the word "glance" appears at the top, as in the "week glance". The only difference between it and atw.000 is that the float window, Window #2, has a different top boundary so that the day you are on is read correctly. Also, hyperactive Window #C in this set, loads atw.000 when the words "day planner" appears at the top as in the Day Planner. atw.004 This set loads when "address book" appears at the top of the screen. The only difference again is that window #2 has a different top boundary so that the letter of the address book that you are in reads before the list of names. atw.005 loads for the expense view. Note: Due to my personal preference, I have a few changes from the Window-eyes defaults: Hyperactive roter = control+shift+tilde Route Mouse to Window = alt+grave accent Redraw = alt+back-slash user Window Status = control+alt+grave accent read line=control+l My apologies to anyone who doesn't like these settings and has to take the time to change them.
