Window-Eyes 6 sets for CSE HTML Validator 8.x Last modified December 10, 2006 by Richard Turner The set files are: cse80.000 cse80.001 cse80.002 cse80spl.000 cse80.we and this file, cse8we6readme.txt. In the spell checker: When a word is not found in the dictionary, Window-Eyes will automatically speak the word not found and the first suggestion. If you need to have that repeated, hit control+w to hear the word not found and control+r to hear the replacement word. If you need to hear the various buttons that you can use to make changes, hit alt+5. When you validate a document, the first message will read automatically. After that, these commands will work: control+m reads the message window. alt+down_arrow moves to the next message and reads it. alt+up_arrow moves to the previous message and reads it. (You won't here anything if you hit alt+up_arrow when you are on the first message, or alt+down_arrow if you are on the last message.) Also, I changed the hot keys for Windows 1 through 6 from alt+1, alt+2 etc., to control+1 through control+6. HTML Validator uses alt+1 through alt+6 as hot keys to insert the header codes

. I would encourage anyone using the program to read the helps and go through the options very carefully. One thing that can make it easier to use is to validate using the batch wizard. This will create a report in an html format and open it in your browser. It is a bit easier to go through all the messages, warnings, comments and errors this way. Note: Due to my personal preference, I have a few changes from the Window-eyes defaults: Hyperactive roter = control+shift+tilde Route Mouse to Window = alt+grave accent Redraw = alt+back-slash user Window Status = control+alt+grave accent time/date = control+alt+t read current line = control+l My apologies to anyone who doesn't like these settings and has to take the time to change them.
