Window-Eyes 4.2 Standard sets for GoldWave 4.2x Screen resolution is 600x800 Sets created on June 26, 2002 I attempted to use the auto off set feature, but you still may have to adjust some of the windows if your screen resolution is something other than 600x800. I've included the keyboard commands from GoldWave appendix B at the end of this file. I found it extremely helpful. Also, I would suggest setting the main window and the sound window sizes to maximized. You can do this in GoldWave under the Options menu and selecting Window. Set files included are: goldwave.000 goldwave.001 goldwave.chr goldwave.key goldwave.we gw-about.000 Here are the Window-Eyes hot keys and windows that I have set in goldwave.000. Alt+s reads Windows 3 and 4, which gives you the sampling rate, stereo or mono and the wave sign. alt+l reads Window 5, which gives you the total length of the sound file. alt+m reads Window 6, which gives you the time from the start marker to the finish marker. Alt+n reads window 7, which gives you the length of the file between the start and finish markers. Alt+i reads Window#2 which gives the amount of time that has elapsed in the file where you pause play. I set the route mouse to user window hot key as alt+grave accent. If you need to double check the length, route the mouse to the appropriate window and use the mouse keys to read the number. Hyperactive Window#A is set to trigger on 95%. When a processing job gets to 95 percent, Window-eyes will say, "almost finished", then it will read window 1 and beep. It is my attempt to give some warning that a process is almost finished. Sometimes, the processing is so fast that either GoldWave skips the 95 percent or it goes by so quickly Window-Eyes doesn't see it. Goldwave.001 should load when you go into the device controls properties. Note: The comctl32.000 and comctl32.we files are included since that is where Window-Eyes stores the field names for the device controls. It shouldn't cause you any problems, but you may want to back up your default copy of comctl32.we just in case. I used the label field names to label the check boxes for the recording sources. A tip for getting into the GoldWave device controls. Hit alt+o to open the Options menu. Arrow down to Controls and hit enter Hit control+tab twice to get to the volume control tab. This gives you all the check boxes for selecting your recording source from within Goldwave. gw-about.000 loads when you select about from the help menu. Hyperactive Window#A reads teh about info. If you have any questions about this set file, feel free to contact me.
