Group Wise set files for Window-Eyes 4.5 October 9, 2003 The set files are: grpwise.000 grpwise.001 grpwise.gra grpwise.we gwdta1us.000 gwdta1us.we gwabu.we gwabu1us.000 gwabu1us.001 gwabu1us.we Note: Because Group Wise does some odd things to the keyboard, I have redefined the hot keys that use the insert key to use different combinations. So you now have: voice up = alt+up_arrow voice down = alt+down_arrow voice selection = alt+right_arrow voice parameter selection = alt+left_arrow. time/date = alt+shift+t last flash and tool tip = control+alt+t status line = alt+s bypass = control+alt+b auto label graphics = control+shift+g label field name = alt+shift+f Speak All = alt+shift+a auto detect cursor = alt+shift+c reclass = alt+shift+r Redraw = f12 Load set = alt+l Sys Tray = alt+shift+s continue mouse search = control+alt+shift+f I defined one hot key that is undefined by default. To route the mouse to a window, hit alt+grave-accent. The grpwise.000 is the main set file for reading the message list. grpwise.001 loads when reading messages when reading a message: alt+r activates the reply button and alt+o activates the forward button.. If you forget this, use the context sensitive help when reading a message; control+shift+f1. gwdta1us.000 loads in the spell checker and has the following windows set for speaking the questionable words and the suggested replacements. Window #2 reads "not found" and is chained to Window #4 which is set to "speak and spell" that word. Window #3 reads "w replace with" and is chained with Window #5 which speaks and spells the proposed replacement. HyperActive Window #A is set to read Window #2 when there is a change in the "not found" word, which, of course, then reads all you need to know to decide what to do next. gwabu.we, gwabu1us.000, gwabu1us.001 and gwabu1us.we; all have to do with the address book. The address book does not read well at all with Window-Eyes. However, I have found a work around, which is a bit awkward, but functional. 1. Open the address book with alt+t then hit the letter a. 2. Hit alt+n which opens the information for the first person. 3. Hit alt+x to move forward in the address book and alt+e to move backward in the address book. 4. When you find the one you want to write to, hit escape, then alt+m and you will be in the subject edit box for a new message to that person. Not a great method, but it works.
