Window-Eyes 4.2 Standard sets for NoteTab Pro 4.8X and above. I am using a screen resolution of 800x600 with high 16 bit color. The set files are: notepro.000, notepro.001 and notepro.we and this file, Notepro.txt. Notepro.000 loads with the main NoteTab window. Alt+p reads the cursor position. Under the View, Options, General TAb, make sure to check the "Blind user mode" check box. Also, under the View Options, View tab, make sure that "show menu icons" is unchecked. It makes the program run better for those of us using screen readers. One of the things I like about this program is that the author is making it accessible and committed to keeping it that way. And, of course, always maximize windows if they are not. I would suggest using the auto-label graphics feature of Window-Eyes (insert+g) to label the tool bar graphics. Notepro.001 loads with the spell checker. I have it set to automatically read the word "not found" and the first suggested replacement word and then you will be in the list box of all the other suggested words, which you can arrow through to find the suggestion you want. I have labelled most of the edit boxes and buttons in the Options tab-controls. In order to use the numeric keypad to take advantage of some of the mathematical features of NoteTab Pro, I have redefined some of the mouse keys on the numeric keypad. single click left mouse button=control+numpad-slash single click right mouse button=control+numpad-star toggle we and mouse pointer=control+numpad-dash carat to mouse=alt+numpad-plus Note: Due to my personal preference, I have a few changes from the Window-eyes defaults as well: Hyperactive roter = control+shift+tilde Route Mouse to Window = alt+grave accent Redraw = alt+back-slash user Window Status = control+alt+grave accent time/date = control+alt+t read current line = control+l My apologies to anyone who doesn't like these settings and has to take the time to change them. If you have any questions about these sets, let me know. Richard Turner richard@turner42.com
