Window-Eyes 4.2 Standard sets for NoteTab Light 4.8X and above. I am using a screen resolution of 800x600 with high 16 bit color. The set files are: notepro.000, notepro.001 and notepro.we. Notetab.000 loads with the main NoteTab window. Alt+p reads the cursor position. Under the View, Options, General TAb, make sure to check the "Blind user mode" check box. Also, under the View Options, View tab, make sure that "show menu icons" is unchecked. It makes the program run better for those of us using screen readers. One of the things I like about this program is that the author is making it accessible and committed to keeping it that way. And, of course, always maximize windows if they are not. I would suggest using the auto-label graphics feature of Window-Eyes (insert+g) to label the tool bar graphics. I have labelled most of the edit boxes and buttons in the Options tab-controls. I would suggest upgrading to NoteTab Pro, if for no other reason that the spell checker, though there are other advantages that you can read about on their web site. http://www.notetab.com Note: Due to my personal preference, I have a few changes from the Window-eyes defaults: Hyperactive roter = control+shift+tilde Route Mouse to Window = alt+grave accent Redraw = alt+back-slash user Window Status = control+alt+grave accent time/date = control+alt+t read current line = control+l My apologies to anyone who doesn't like these settings and has to take the time to change them. If you have any questions about these sets, let me know. Richard Turner richard@turner42.com
