Realone Player sets for Window-Eyes 4.21 Last modified February 23, 2003 Window-Eyes hot keys: Alt+s reads the track, file, station name. alt+i reads the time information shown as time elapsed and total time. alt+b reads the kilobytes per second. When playing a CD: The following windows are somewhat dependent on the particular CD. The information does not seem to appear in a completely consistent format. alt+4 reads window #4 which is the line with album information etc. If you want more details on a CD you are playing, route the mouse to window #4 with alt+grave-accent and left click. alt+5 reads window #5which is another line with the song and artist plus a spot for album details. Again route the mouse to window #5 and find the part you want more information on and left click. alt+6 reads window #6 which is a place to search for similar artists. alt+7 reads window #7 which gives you the genre. alt+8 reads window #8 which will show the tracks if you have clicked on album details and your CD information follows this format.. alt+9 reads window #9 which reads the biographical information if any. When you click on any of the above items, MSAA mode will be on and you will be in a web page type display so all web page commands from Internet Explorer will work here. I have a hyperactive window set to read changes in the song title, station name, etc., when it changes. I have found that the first time you load a new CD, station, whatever, this repeats many times before it settles down. Note: Due to my personal preference, I have a few changes from the Window-eyes defaults: Hyperactive roter = control+shift+tilde Route Mouse to Window = alt+grave accent Redraw = alt+back-slash user Window Status = control+alt+grave accent time/date=control+alt+t My apologies to anyone who doesn't like these settings and has to take the time to change them.
