I'm Robert, delighted to be back with you again and glad to have everybody who's here online and welcome to everyone who listens to the recording later on. As always, we have Venkatesh with us from Orbit Research. Venkatesh, if you would please unmute yourself and give us an update on what in the world Orbit Research is up to these days. Venkatesh Chari Thank you, Robert, for having me and organizing this call. Thanks, everyone, for joining. I do have a few updates, though obviously not as big of an update as we had last month when we talked about the new announcements. So I do have some updates about the Orbit player and also the Orbit speak. So as you know, we have been working on various aspects here. Release 2, which happened about a month ago, was a pretty major update, an architectural change, lots of different improvements. So far, it seems to have overall been well received. I think there were some issues with the updating for some folks, which we have, I think, largely been able to resolve for everyone. If folks still have any lingering issues in terms of being able to update, please reach out to us directly and we'll be happy to work with you one-on-one and get those resolved. So since then, we've been working on incremental fixes. So I'm happy to announce that later this week we'll be releasing 2.0.2 for the Orbit player. This will include a number of fixes. There were several things related to podcasts. We had reports of BBC podcasts not playing, the refreshes of episodes not coming through correctly. Also some other podcasts not playing due to unintrepid connections, missing codecs, et cetera. So a number of updates have been performed there, a number of fixes, and the experience should be much smoother now. We also included or improved the displaying of podcast update dates, et cetera. Also improvements on the book reader where book speed, the audiobook speed was reported incorrectly. Also, we fixed an issue that caused bookmark insertion shortcuts to not work. Also improvements to volume with headphones. There were some internal limitations that we've been able to fix and bypass. The settings app has also undergone improvements. There were challenges with time zones, where some time zones were not saved correctly. Also, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection experience has been improved with more consistent prompts and a better layout. There was also cases where factory reset command was not showing up, so that's also been fixed. So overall, the lots of small changes that should improve the user experience. We also had some folks reporting that they were getting beeps, a sequence of beeps on startup without any speech. So that has also been addressed. We do have a request. We just want to make sure that this is fully addressed for everyone. So if after this update, 2.0.2, if you still encounter any issues with the device beeping, please let us know and we will work with you. We have a special build, a special version that we can send you and that will help us to diagnose the issue by sending us some internal logs. So please do help us with this as soon as you encounter something. It should not happen, but in case it does, we want to try to debug it as soon as possible. Moving on to the Orbit speak. So we are working on what we call 2.1, which will be the first release 2 update for OrbitSpeak. Private beta testing will start end of this month, which is basically this week, and then public beta in mid-May, and we anticipate the final version to be released by the end of May. This will add many of the long-awaited features. the support for system-wide Braille translation, the unified releases between the Orbit Player and the Orbit Speak, a reorganized home screen to improve application discoverability and overall ease of use, bookmarks in the media player and podcast apps, a better, improved, easier-to-use file picker, ability to play media files, rather, files from the media player without necessarily having to add them to the library, choosing a default app to start up in when the device starts from a cold start, and various additional fixes. Support for Bard has always been a question, and we're happy to share that. There's been good progress in this. on multiple fronts, actually. And we'll be providing a first implementation in the June time frame. And that'll be a side-loaded Bard app. So it'll have all of the same functionality that you get from the current Bard app. And the UI will be slightly different from what we have today for our other apps because it'll utilize a screen reader, our own screen reader. We have worked very hard on trying to make it an intuitive and smooth, tactile and button-driven user interface. So That said, it will not be exactly the same UI as our other apps. We do have plans to provide a fully native app as well, but that's going to require quite a bit more time. So that's in the works. can't really predict a time frame yet, but we hope to have it by the end of the year. But nevertheless, the functionality that folks desire will become available once we have this first implementation available in June. On the Braille products, so we have a new JAWS driver that's been developed, which unifies the features, all of the latest JAWS features between both the USB and Bluetooth versions. Currently, some of these are available only in the Bluetooth, sorry, only in the USB connection. These will become available in the June update for JAWS. We have a couple of releases planned also for the Graffiti Plus. A number of important bug fixes, improvements in the user interface. We've also been working on the API. So we have for the Graffiti and Graffiti Plus and interface. so folks can develop their code on any platform and then communicate over USB or Bluetooth with the Graffiti and Graffiti Plus. So we've been making improvements to that as well. We also have a release plan for the Orbit Writer, and there's a... key command added to enable quick navigation when VoiceOver is enabled. This is targeted for most likely not next week, if not a little bit earlier. Other than this, we have been making progress on the carrying cases for the Orbit player. I know this has been also long sought by our customers. So I'm happy to report that there has been progress. We've created some newer prototypes taking into account feedback from a first round of prototypes a while back. We now have some feedback on this. as well. And we're hopeful that in the next few months we'll be able to finalize and bring this into production. This would be a leather case that would allow you to use the device while it's still in the case. We have also just gone through a major redo of our website and our The previous website was almost 15 years old and had various challenges as a result of that. The newer one is much more modern in terms of its components and the framework upon which it's built. We have done a lot of testing internally for various things, but especially accessibility. We believe that there are potentially still issues. I really appreciate any feedback that you can provide us. We hope to smoothen things out within the next couple of weeks. But in terms of functionality, most of it, we expect, is there at this time. I know some of you had not been able to access support documents and files. We believe those should be all available and accessible now, but please let us know if you have any issues at all. Other than that, I just want to reiterate about the subsidy program that we have with of WhatsApp, the voice of specially abled people. So please do us a favor, spread the word about the availability of this program. We'll be sending an e-mail out about this and along with some FAQs a little later this week. But we'd really appreciate it if you could spread the word about this. In terms of upcoming events, so we have Site City, the conference in Frankfurt, Germany, that is scheduled for the last week of May. And then we have the NFB convention in Austin from July 3rd to 8th, and the ACB convention in St. Louis from the 24th to the 31st of July. So we'll be exhibiting at all of these events and hope to see some of you folks there. With that, I will hand the microphone back to you, Robert. Robert Carter All right, well, thank you. Excellent update. Boy, there's a lot going on. And every month I say that because every month there's a lot going on at Orbit Research. So thanks for all that information. This is the part where we open things up for conversation, questions, and discussion. If you have something you'd like to ask or contribute, please feel free to raise your hand and I'll recognize you and then you can unmute yourself and we will carry on from there. Tony, you've got your hand up. Please unmute yourself and go ahead when you're ready. Speaker 3 Thank you. It's been a long time since I've authorized a device with NLS. So with the Orbit player, will it be necessary to seek NLS authorization before I can activate the device on Bard or will it just be username and password driven? Venkatesh Chari That's a great question, Tony. If you were to use a different phone today, let's say, and load the Bard app and access it from there, does it make you authorize that as a new device? Speaker 3 No, it doesn't. But if, let's say, I had one of the Victor series, It used to be that you had to seek authorization from NLS. So I don't know where this stands in terms of the difference between the phone and a specialty device. Venkatesh Chari Right. So in this first implementation that we expect to have in June, it will essentially be the BART app that you would typically note on a phone, in this case, the Android version of the app. So if the app, and I'm sorry, I have not tried this myself, so I don't know the exact answer, but if the app doesn't require you to get a device-level authorization and just lets you log in with a password and user ID, then I expect the interaction would be the same on the Orbit Player as well. In the later version, where we have a full native app, I believe it will require a device-level authentication authorization from the NLS. Speaker 3 Thank you. Thank you. Robert Carter All right, Maria, you have your hand raised. Please unmute yourself and go ahead. Speaker 4 Hello. I am wondering, I assume the answer is yes, but just thought I would put this out there, relating to apps such as the World Clock and Weather, well, in the Orbit Player currently, but presumably also in the Orbit Speak when that's released. Currently, right now, the display of information is only available, for example, with the clock, the world clock in 24 hour and the weather in Celsius. And I'm wondering if there are also plans to allow for settings so that it can be set as per the preference, user preference to the 12 hour format and the degrees Fahrenheit respectively in those two apps. Thanks. Venkatesh Chari Thanks, Maria. Those are great questions. So I think I missed mentioning, I believe, the setting for the temperature unit, Celsius and Fahrenheit, I believe that is already now included in the in the release that's going to go out later this week. So that should already be there. I believe the 12-hour versus 24-hour selection is also there. I will check with the team and let you know. But yes, these are, in the grand scheme of things, relatively straightforward things. And some of them were kind of just waiting for 2.0 to happen. Now that that has happened, I think it'll be very quick if there's any of these kinds of features that are missing. It'll be very quick for us to fix those and provide updates. Robert Carter All right. Thanks, Maria. Ken, please unmute yourself and go ahead when you're ready. Speaker 5 All right. I don't think I've gotten an e-mail about my issue with the... register wake in the communication error thing. Other than that, I do like the orbit speak. I like using it. Just those two issues are still there. I'm hoping that with that next update that it would, that you said that there would be like a new updater with a new software. Venkatesh Chari Is that what you said? Yeah. Are you already on release 2, Ken, or are you still on? Speaker 5 No, because it's because I'm on the because I'm using the orbit speak. It's still on. Venkatesh Chari Oh, you're using orbit speak, yes, So, yes, version two will definitely bring a significant number of improvements. Yeah, we have a note of the issue that you mentioned last last month. And so that will also be definitely be addressed with release 2. If you're if you like, we can we can have a direct call also and see if there is there are things that we can do even in the current release to help you with that. Speaker 5 I'm going to see what I'm going to wait and see what you guys do for the update. And if that doesn't fix anything, I guess maybe I could maybe get back with you. Sure. Because I want to give you guys the benefit of the doubt. I don't want to be like, impatient or anything like that. I want to give you guys the benefit of the doubt because I know you guys have a lot of stuff going on. Venkatesh Chari Thank you. Thank you very much, Ken. You're welcome. I really appreciate your patience. Speaker 5 Yes, sir. Robert Carter All right. Thank you, sir. Bobby, please unmute and go ahead when you're ready. Speaker 6 Hey, I don't know how many Bobbys there are here, but I'm the right one. Robert Carter You picked the right one. Go ahead. Speaker 6 Okay. Yeah, this is kind of my question. Okay, we got into 2.0 in the Orbit player. And I'm wondering about the media player. How do you navigate by folders with the new media player? Because like, for example, when I pick a folder or file and I want to be able to navigate from track to track, but I can't. And then when I finally hit and I go through the file manager and then I hit play on a file, but then it goes to my media player, but then it says last track, last track. I'm probably not doing it right. Venkatesh Chari Let's do one thing, Bobby. Maybe we can, you know, I unfortunately don't have a have an offhand answer to that. Maybe if we can spend a few minutes on the phone with some of our folks, we can listen to how it's working for you and then see if there is an issue in the code or if it's just a matter of using it the way it has been designed. So shall we do that? Speaker 6 Shall we have a call maybe later today or tomorrow? Can we have, if I'm not using it properly, and can we have Tony Schwartz, you know, just do a demo on the media player in 2.0? It doesn't have to be a long demo, just something to get me started. Venkatesh Chari Certainly, we can ask Tony. Tony is, I think, still on the call. Tony, if you wouldn't mind. Don't mean to put you on the spot. Speaker 3 I'm sorry, what was the question, Bobby? Speaker 6 No, the question was the media player. So when I'm in artists and I navigate by artists, like let's say I want to choose a track. Instead of being able to navigate through all the tracks, it just says first track, last track, or whatever. instead of like being able to go from one to two to three, but I'm probably doing it wrong. Speaker 3 I don't have an answer for you, Bobby. I haven't played enough with the media player to work with artists yet. So sorry about that. Maybe someone else knows? Speaker 6 I mean, maybe you're supposed to select all the tracks before you play them. I don't know. Venkatesh Chari Let's do this, Bobby, if you wouldn't mind. And we'll reach out to you, set up a time, and then we can walk through your specific use case and see what's going on. Speaker 6 Oh, OK. Robert Carter All right. Thank you, Bobby. Sounds good. Brandon, please unmute and go ahead when you're ready. Speaker 7 Yeah, can you guys hear me OK? Robert Carter Yeah, we hear you fine. Speaker 7 OK. I was going to see if there's been any update to the Newsline issue I mentioned. for a while about not being able to log in, because I know that's been an issue since last year. Venkatesh Chari There is there is an update. Let me check on it and get back to you later in this call, Brandon. I remember. Yeah, I remember the issue and I know that there was work done and I believe it was addressed. I know you're trying this on an orbit speak, right? Speaker 7 Yeah, with 1.7 point 10. If I have to private test 2.1 or anything to get the issue fixed, I'll hardly do it. Venkatesh Chari Yeah, I mean, we, you know, as I was saying earlier, we, you know, we have been collecting issues and they're all getting addressed. A lot of them are getting addressed together in 2.0 for So you'll see a whole bunch of these fixed at that time. But this particular one, I believe we did have a fix. So let me check on that and get back to you. Speaker 7 Okay. Also, I know I mentioned TTS in the past and you guys are going to look into it, but have you thought of any free options that don't require licensing issues like eSpeak NG or Flight or any of those ones that don't require licensing to see about those being included? Venkatesh Chari Right. No, that's a very good question, Brandon. And the answer is yes. We have actually looked closely at options such as East Peak, such as flight. It's one of those things where it's not that difficult to do in terms of implementing it. But that said, the sort of the infrastructure that has to go around it to make it downloadable and to select languages and then support. So all of that requires a little bit more effort. So we do want to offer those options, especially the free ones, the open source GTS models. So I'm hopeful that, see, you know, 2.0 for Orbit player was a was a massive effort for us and a big step forward. The next big step for us is to also make it happen for the Orbit Speak, and that's kind of where a lot of our focus has been. As soon as these are done, that will free us up to tackle a lot of these things that I guess you could call nice to have. What we are currently trying to address is, you know, You're trying to address. Speaker 7 Stuff that's already in there to try to fix it. I get it. Venkatesh Chari That's right. That's right. But I do appreciate your interest and your reminders, Brandon. We do want that. You know, we want you to keep pushing us. It's great to know that there is interest and there is demand. And that's what sort of really drives our team to continue to develop and offer the best that we can. Speaker 7 Okay, this is my last question for now. Any plans on eventually, in the future, games? Venkatesh Chari It's a great question. Yeah, we have thought about games in the past. We know that they're popular, that people do like them. we would like to offer. Currently, we haven't gone as far as thinking about what to offer, but if you have suggestions and if others have suggestions, I'd love to hear about that. Robert Carter All right. Well, thank you. Venkatesh Chari And if you could drop us a line, you know. drop us an e-mail with any suggestions that you might have for games that might be suitable for these products. Absolutely. Robert Carter All right. Alexander, you're ready to unmute and go ahead with your comment or question, please. Speaker 8 Hey, everybody. I've got a question on Orbit Reader. support in my case, but I assume this may apply to all the displays. I was wondering if it is possible to support what's called the Unicode Braille characters, because I came across a situation like that in which I was handed a file that instead of those ASCII characters, it had Unicode Braille and And I actually had to use something like my phone or my screen reader on the PC to be able to read those characters. Is this a possibility in the future to have the display, like the standalone display support those characters? Thanks. Venkatesh Chari Sure. So your use case is where you have a file that has got Unicode encoding for the Braille character. So it's a BRF file, but it's got Unicode encoding instead of the ASCII. Is that what you're asking? Speaker 8 Not entirely sure on the encoding itself of the file. I'm specifically referring to the characters, like instead of having, I don't know, dollar, which represents dots 1, 4, 5, 6, or... whatever, that kind of thing. It has what I understand as Unicode characters, 10,000, something like that. Venkatesh Chari Yeah. So yeah, no, that's a that's a that's a good question. So the encoding of Braille can be done, you know, either in ASCII or Unicode. And there is a Unicode table for for Braille, just like there's Unicode tables for various other languages and character sets and so on. So I will double check on this, Alexander. I believe we do have support for Unicode characters, Unicode Braille as well. So if you wouldn't mind dropping us an e-mail, we'll get back to you about this. And yes, as you said, this would apply to all of, most of our products, other than the Orbit Reader 20, which does not have built-in Braille translation. Actually, this is not a translation question. This is really an encoding question. So even the OR 20 could in theory. Perform this operation, so great question. Speaker 8 We'll be nice to experiment a little bit with the encoding found in the profile, because I think I did see things like ANSI, UTF-8, and Unicode. Venkatesh Chari I think it's UTF-8, so there's a there's an... Important distinction. So we currently do support Unicode files, but those are text files, right? So if you have a text file and that's got, you know, UTF-8 characters or Unicode or ASCII, those are supported. So we can translate those and display them as Braille. I thought, or I believe your question is a little bit different where the file contains Braille Unicode categories. Yeah. So that's a little bit different because then that's not exactly a text file. Speaker 8 I see. Venkatesh Chari With UTF encoding or UTF-8 or whatever other, there are other unit code formats as well. So, it needs to, it needs to be handled a little bit differently. So I will check on that and I'll be happy to let you know if you wouldn't mind dropping us an e-mail with your contact details, we'll check and get back to you. Speaker 8 Shall we do that on the mailing list or do you have a... Venkatesh Chari You can just, yeah, you can e-mail tech support at orbitresearch.com. Speaker 8 Cool, I'll do that. Thank you. Robert Carter All right, thank you. Who else would like to ask a question or make a comment? We don't have any more hands at the moment, so Let's give it one more shot. All right. Matthew, please, go ahead, Matthew. Okay, I guess Matthew didn't actually have his hand raised. Sorry about that. Venkatesh Chari Yeah, I think Terry, yeah. Robert Carter Doug, please go ahead. I see your hand up. Venkatesh Chari Yeah. Speaker 9 Hello there. How are you? Robert Carter Good. Speaker 9 Okay, thank you. And thanks for holding the meeting. Two questions. And does regarding the Orbit player, I like... Okay, sorry about that. When reading text files or things, I like being able to navigate by word or sentence or line or stuff. Or by character. Some devices let you spell each word as you navigate, right? In case you want just... So you don't have to nav, you don't have to spell by character. Is that something you'd consider adding to the Orbit player? Venkatesh Chari That's a great question. So as you're navigating by word, it would spell out. Speaker 9 Well, yes, if you, yeah, if you, one of your competitors has this. I'm sorry. But occasionally, if you're reading it, if you're reading a fantasy book where the author goes out of their way to make interesting spellings for names, Right. You know, you want to read that name, have it spelled at least once. So like, for example, they would say it would say Ashish and it would spell A-S-H-I-S-H. Right. And then it's just one of the navigation. It's just in one of the available navigation modes along with word or character or line. It might be something good to add. The other thing is, okay, thank you for, thanks for that. Also, the Orbit player has a sleep timer, I think, in the menu system. Is there any way you can bring that to the keyboard so you can, you press the asterisks It brings up the sleep dialogue, and you can choose how long you want to sleep. Or on some devices, they have a dedicated sleep button. I know real estate is very expensive when it comes to buttons, so you may not have that. But I would like to see a sleep timer that's easier to activate. This is on the Orbit Player. Venkatesh Chari Understood on this session. No, that's a great suggestion. We do have shortcuts for many different functions. I'll double check and see if there is a shortcut for this dialogue also. As far as the Spell is concerned, that's just great input. We'll certainly check this out. And if we can include this, and then these are not that clue, should be able to chat. OK, so I just appreciate it. Speaker 9 And now that I have your, I'm. Venkatesh Chari Told the version 2.1 will have a short shortcut, bottom up for this list. Speaker 9 Excellent. Robert Carter Excuse me just a second. We got a problem with a bad echo on you, Venkatesh. Speaker 9 That's probably me with being muted there. I'll hang on one second. Let me turn down my volume. Sorry. There. Speak, Vantesh. Now do you... Venkatesh Chari Yeah, I was pretty much done. Yeah, it seems to be the matter now. Speaker 9 Okay, I apologize. And I was going to ask something else, but I forgot what it was. So, oh, an immediate player. Does it? support playlists. Can I create a playlist on the SD card and import it and have it work? This is for music. Speaker 8 Yeah, it does support. Speaker 9 Oh, it does. Speaker 8 Yeah. Speaker 9 I apologize for wasting your time asking that question. I didn't know. And I hope I'm not echoing now. Hope you guys aren't echoing now. So. Robert Carter We've still got it on Vancetesh and *****. Speaker 4 I apologize. I think that echo is maybe Doug, just you're being unmuted. Speaker 10 Yeah, I know. Speaker 9 I turned it down, so thank you. Robert Carter So, if you're if you're if you're currently unmuted, please mute yourself if you're not using headphones, because you're creating a lot of echo on the system. Thank you. Terry Ann, please. Speaker 10 Good morning and good day, everybody. I don't really have a particular question, but I just wanted to come in and say hello and to thank you and your team, Venkatesh, for all the wonderful work that you're doing and to let you know that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth and I know that I owe you an e-mail and I will get back to that. So I apologize. Lots of stuff going on here, but I'm fine and I will be in touch with you. But thank you for all the wonderful work that you continue to do. And I mean, it seems to get more and more all the time. And you don't have this, you don't have like the NASA with thousands of people working for your team. And you do this amazing, amazing job. So thank you so much for that. Robert Carter Well, in spite of the fact they don't have NASA, Terry, and I'm looking forward to the day Orbit Research launches their first space shuttle. I think I'll be honest. Speaker 10 Oh, I like the way you think, Robert. Yes, indeed. Robert Carter All right, thank you, Terry-Ann. Venkatesh Chari I'm a big space fan, so yeah, that's the, and actually that had something to do with the naming of the company as well, but thanks, thanks for thanks for your kind words, Terry-Ann, and hopefully, you know, we'll get to meet at the conventions if you're planning to attend. Robert Carter All right, we still have time and we don't have hands at the moment. Well, we almost had a hand. Venkatesh Chari We do now have two hands, three hands, actually. Robert Carter Go ahead, Brandon. Speaker 7 Okay. I was going to see if there's been an update on the issue I mentioned anyway, because you said you were going to check in on it while the call was still going on. Venkatesh Chari When it comes to- I'm sorry, which one? the newsline issue. Yes, I don't have an update yet, but I will let you know if I do get it before the end of the call. Speaker 7 And as far as future game ideas, I thought I would Simon, Hangman, and Blackjack just to name three. Venkatesh Chari Yep, Those are those are good suggestions. Robert Carter All right. Thank you for those contributions, Brandon. Rodney, please unmute yourself and go ahead when you're ready. Speaker 11 Good afternoon. Thank you for hosting this call. And thank you for agreeing to appear on the call. My question is, I looked on the website, and I might be interested in purchasing a Braille slate at some point. How I saw the I can figure out the length of it, but how heavy is it? Venkatesh Chari Is. So the the Slate 340 is a little bit heavier because it's got more cells. I will check and let you know just momentarily. Speaker 11 No, is it like less than 5 pounds or so? And I just want to make sure that it's portable because, I mean, I thought it probably was, but I think it would be a fantastic device for reading. Venkatesh Chari Yeah, absolutely. I mean, since it gives you like 100 or 120 characters of Braille. It is really, really nice for reading lots of Braille. It weighs, I believe, around 3 pounds. I will look this up. Speaker 11 But thank you, sir. Don't worry about it. But that's all I wanted. I'm sorry for taking everyone's time to ask that question. Venkatesh Chari No, By the way, the website has such details also, so the technical details are also there. Speaker 11 I looked, I looked, I looked, I looked up there before I asked the question, but it didn't have the weight in pounds. It had it in grams. Venkatesh Chari Oh, in grams. We tried to actually include both units, so I'm surprised. Maybe we somehow did not, did not include it in. in pounds, but I will make sure that gets fixed. Speaker 11 Well, thank you, sir. You have a wonderful day, sir. Robert Carter Thank you, Rodney. Venkatesh Chari I'm just looking right now. So it's 2 pounds for the Slate 340. And for the Slate 520, it is also 3 pounds. So roughly the same weight, actually. Robert Carter All right. I guess a lot of braille isn't all that heavy, Venkatesh. Ken, please unmute yourself and go ahead when you're ready. Speaker 5 I know I asked, I mean, I know I said something earlier, but you know, I was thinking about this thing that you said about the Optima last month about it, maybe needing a Perkins, excuse me, a Perkins style keyboard. at one point that you were thinking about doing. What do you think about maybe doing one with a note taker interface primarily or no? Venkatesh Chari So when you say note taker interface, what exactly would you do? Speaker 5 Like how some note takers are like with a full file manager and stuff like that. Venkatesh Chari Oh, I see, I see. So yes, The plan for the Optima is to keep it mostly as a plain Windows PC, right? So, you know, you can install anything, you can run anything. However, we do want to provide some simple utilities that are, you know, that the system can, you know, will start up in by default. So a simple file manager, a Braille editor, and a couple of other functions we do plan to offer. This is what we have. previously called our Braille UI. So it's a simple shell. when you get a new unit, it'll be set to boot up into this, but you can easily exit it back to sort of regular Windows with just a key press. You can come back to it if you want. And the intent there is to make it easy and simple to use for someone who may not yet be familiar with Windows. But we're Try to be cautious here because we don't want to spend a lot of effort into developing something very complex because the whole purpose is that, we, this is going to be a laptop computer and you can install whatever you like, install whatever screen reader you like, and be able to use it as just, let's say, as a Braille laptop. So the short answer to your question is that yes, we will have a couple of simple functions like that. Robert Carter All right. Thank you, sir. Scott, please unmute and go ahead. Speaker 12 All right, thanks. All right, my question on the media player earlier that was mentioned, I presume this is talking about the orbit player on the orbit player or the orbit speak or either one. Is there not an option in the media player to, I mean, to like point to a folder and just start playing files within that folder and they come in a particular order? Or I'm thinking in terms of possibly, you know, audio tutorials or maybe old time radio and any other MP3, a bunch of MP3 files that just want to be people want to play back-to-back. Is there not an option to do that? To point to a folder and just start playing that entire folder. Venkatesh Chari Yeah, there is. There is. There is an option to. Speaker 12 Yeah, because it seems to me that's that's that would be a very easy fix for a playlist. For a playlist, just isolate what you want to play into a folder and start playing the folder. Venkatesh Chari Right, absolutely, absolutely. Robert Carter Yeah, those options will be available. I know because a lot of people wanted that flexibility of either being able to choose a playlist or being able to just play files from a folder. So I know that is coming. Speaker 12 All right, thanks. Robert Carter Anybody else before we bring this April meeting to a close? All right. Well, it's been a pleasure working with you today, Venkatesh, and a pleasure having all of you here. Any final thoughts, comments, Venkatesh, any challenges you want to throw out to the group or anything? Venkatesh Chari Thank you very much, Robert, for having me. Thanks, everyone, for joining and making the conversation really lively and interesting. No, just a final request to again, you know, please tell folks about the subsidy scheme for the Orbit Player, which brings its price down to $199, and for the Orbit Reader 20, which brings it down to $499, and the Orbit Reader 20 Plus, which is now at $599. And the way to apply for these is to go to the website, voiceofsap.org, V-O-I-C-E-O-F-S-A-P.org slash apply devices. Robert Carter All right, that's a great program, and I really hope lots and lots of people will take advantage of it. With that, we will say so long, and we'll be back in late May. So long, everybody.
